Getting Started
Get up and running with Jane.Social in just a few minutes.
1) Connect your social accounts
Link your social media profiles so you can publish and manage content from one place. Jane.Social supports 13 platforms.
- Go to Settings > Social Accounts and click "Connect New Account."
- Sign in to the platform and authorize Jane.Social.
- Choose the profile or page you want to manage.
- Repeat for each platform you use.
2) Create your first post
Once your accounts are connected, you can compose and publish your first post in seconds.
- Click "New Post" from the sidebar or dashboard.
- Write your content or use the AI assistant to generate a draft.
- Select which connected accounts to publish to.
- Click "Publish Now" or schedule it for later.
Publishing
Create, schedule, and manage your social media content from a single dashboard.
Compose posts
The post composer lets you write content, attach media, and preview how your post will look on each platform before publishing.
- Write once, publish to multiple platforms simultaneously.
- Customize content per platform when character limits differ.
- Attach images or videos within each platform's media limits.
- Preview your post before it goes live.
Schedule & Queue
Plan your content in advance with scheduling and queue features.
- Schedule: Pick an exact date and time for your post to go live.
- Queue: Set recurring time slots and add posts to your queue — they publish automatically at the next available slot.
- Calendar: View all scheduled and queued posts on a visual calendar.
AI Assistant
Let AI help you write engaging social media content.
- Click the AI button in the composer to generate a draft.
- Provide a topic or description and the AI writes the post for you.
- Edit and refine the generated content before publishing.

Jane.Social supports 13 platforms. Each has different character and media limits. The table below shows the key constraints for each platform.

Platforms that support threads (X, Threads, Bluesky, Slack) allow you to chain multiple posts together. Some platforms also support a "first comment" feature for additional context.

Track how your content performs across all connected platforms.

- View likes, comments, shares, and impressions for each post.
- Compare performance across platforms side by side.
- Filter by date range to spot trends over time.

- See which types of content get the most engagement.
- Identify the best times to post for your audience.
- Track follower growth and audience demographics.
Inbox
Manage messages and comments from all your social platforms in one place.
- View and reply to messages across all connected accounts.
- Filter by platform, read/unread status, or starred conversations.
- Archive conversations to keep your inbox clean.
- Never miss a comment or DM — everything is in one stream.
Account & Billing
Manage your profile, subscription, and API access.
Profile settings
- Update your name, email, and profile photo in Account Settings.
- Change your password or set up a new login method.
Subscription management
- View your current plan and usage in the Billing section.
- Upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
- Update payment methods and download invoices.
API keys
- Generate API keys for programmatic access to Jane.Social.
- Manage active keys and revoke access when no longer needed.
